LongView Historic Renovation

Several renovations throughout the history of this circa 1798 home compromised its character. It was redesigned and restored to respect its origins and now serve as a guest house.

The main stairs of this circa 1798 historic home’s newel post contains a patriotic mortgage button. This mortgage button depicting an eagle clutching an American flag may date back to the early 1800’s based on the few number of stars on the flag.

Patriotism continues to be displayed in the guest house with a red, white and blue motif in many spaces.
